“I happened to be casually browsing my local Barnes & Noble when I came across this book They Come Back Singing by Gary Smith. I immediately picked up the book, having been in the same places as Gary Smith in Uganda and Sudan in 2005. That was three weeks ago. I just finished the book and was really touched by his story. While I was in Uganda I kept a daily journal as well, and reading Gary’s words brought back so many memories of the people that touched my life for the short time I was there. I have since dedicated my life to helping these people and Gary’s book further cemented that calling that I claim as my own. Thank you for publishing such a book. I hope it inspires people to live out their faith in new ways that can last generations.”
